THE BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2022 IS PACKED WITH SOME EPIC NEW RELEASES

The BFI London Film Festival is back this October with a killer year of new releases from some of cinema’s biggest names. With 164 features – 24 of which are world premieres – screened across the capital over 11 days, there’s so much to see that we’re seriously considering taking time off work and camping out in Leicester Square to catch as many as possible.

Among the many highlights are Maria Schrader’s She Said which follows the story of the journalists who broke the Weinstein story; Chinonye Chukwu’s Till about the lynching of Emmett Till and his mother Mamie Till-Mobley’s pursuit of justice; Guillermo Del Toro’s stop-motion Pinocchio adaptation; Sam Mendes’ Empire of Light; Michael Grandage’s My Policeman starring Harry Styles; Ruben Östlund’s award-winning satire Triangle of Sadness; and Matthew Warchus’s Matilda.

Films will be screened at nine venues across London and tickets go on sale on the 13th September, but if you’re a BFI member, you’ll get access on 7th September.
