A restaurant has been told improvement is necessary by food hygiene inspectors.
The Nightingale in Bicester- which describes itself on its website as a "proper pub" – has been hit with a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Located in Nightingale Place, the business was assessed on Wednesday, January 11 by the Food Standards Agency – which is now listed on the government department's website.
The Nightingale serves a selection of real ales and craft beers, including from its brewery called Brewpoint in Bedford.

The "dog-friendly" establishment serves light bites, pub classics and desserts.
This new rating means that of Cherwell's 175 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 132 – 75 per cent – have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
