Casting for the Oxford season of Come Dine With Me open now

A POPULAR cooking show is coming to Oxfordshire in September and are looking for local restaurants and chefs to take part.

Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me is back with an “exciting twist” as it launches Come Dine With Me – The Professionals.

The spinoff show, which is now in its second season, is looking for restaurants, chefs, waiters, and more to go head-to-head in showcasing winning menus across the county.

Contestants will represent their chosen establishments in a battle against two other restaurant duos in a bid to host the best dining experience and walk away with £1,000 and the prestigious CDWM – The Professionals Award.

The evening will be marked on food/drink, service, atmosphere and overall experience.

Bianca Clayton, casting producer, said: “Considering the amazing variety of unique and delicious restaurants all over Oxfordshire, there will be some hot competition in this show.

“We are looking for restaurant duos with bags of personality who are up for the challenge of winning £1,000 for their restaurant".

Participants must be over 18 and work as a chef or member of staff in the restaurant they choose to represent.

Filming will take place in the restaurant during service and the show will need permission from the owner for the restaurant to feature. The shoot will take place between September 12 to 14.
