The brand new day festival is taking over Southwark Park this August
Not content with running their own acclaimed fest, the GALA crew are teaming up with Bird On The Wire to bring a brand new one to the London festival calendar this year. RALLY is bringing together the city’s different communities dedicated to showcasing the freshest new music to create a line-up that prioritises artistry over genre, and the result is a bill featuring Princess Nokia, Obongjayar, Squid, Kelly Lee Owens, Leon Vynehall b2b Yu Su, John Talabot, Charlotte Adigery, Wu-Lu, Erika de Casier, Laura Misch, Louis Culture, PVA, Ok Williams and more. There’ll also be afterparties at Venue MOT and Bermondsey Social Club if you’re not ready to call it a day once the main programme finishes.
As well as the music, RALLY will be hosting an arts programme with partners including LGBTQIA+ performance art collective Disturbance, Goldsmiths, and non-profit creative space IKLECTIK, and Peckham listening bar Jumbi will be bringing African and Caribbean food to the fest. Sounds like a great new addition to us.
