A teenager accused of uploading ‘white supremacist’ videos to the internet will wait longer to learn his fate.
Oliver Riley, 18, from Watlington, was due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey this morning following his arrest over the border in Gloucestershire last year.
But the case was removed from the London crown court’s list at the last minute. A new date for the sentencing hearing is yet to be fixed, court officials said.
The teenager, who pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court last month, faces five allegations – including possession of a ‘document likely to be useful to a person preparing an act of terrorism’ and sending a grossly offensive message.
DCS Oliver Wright, head of Counter Terrorism Policing South East, said last month: “Some of the harmful content Riley had promotes the separation of races by violent means, along with some particularly hateful content being directed at the LGBTQ+ community.”
