Didcot Parkway coffee shop rated good by Food Standards Agency

A coffee shop in Didcot Parkway station has been rated 'good' in the latest food hygiene inspections.

AMT Coffee Ltd on Platform 4/5 of the busy commuter station was rated 4 by the Food Standards Agency.

The cafe sells 'handcrafted barista coffee' as well as a range of snacks to train passengers.

Food hygiene ratings were given to three other South Oxfordshire establishments.

Wildwood Kitchen on Station Road in Didcot's Orchard Centre was rated 2.

This means improvement is necessary.

A cosy country pub the Catherine Wheel at Church Lane in Drayton St Leonard near Wallingford, was also inspected and rated 3 – generally satisfactory.

And Eat@East Cafe at St Martins Street in Wallingford was also rated 3.

The takeaway in the heart of the town serves Thai and Asian fusion food including popular street food from Thailand, China, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore.

It was found to be generally satisfactory by inspectors.

All the inspections were carried out on October 19.
