Find out where Pret A Manger is opening two new shops

Aug 30, 2022

Pret A Manger has today announced the opening of two new shops in Oxford.

From next month customers will be able to enjoy Pret’s menu at new outlets in Summertown and Oxford railway station.

Coffees, teas and other hot drinks will be prepared by trained baristas and will be available as part of Pret’s award-winning coffee subscriptions scheme.

The new shops will be managed by Dallas Holdings, one of Pret’s new franchise partners, who are looking to hire up to 24 staff to work across the two shops.

It takes the total number of Pret shops in Oxfordshire to eight, including two branches in Cornmarket Street, one at the Westgate Centre and one at Bicester.

The additional shops form part of the company’s broader plans to expand into towns and cities across the UK.

Guy Meakin, interim UK & Ireland managing director at Pret A Manger, said: “Since we opened our first shop in Oxfordshire, Pret has become a firm favourite.

"I’m delighted that we can now bring our freshly made food and delicious organic coffee to even more customers across this historic city and that we will be opening these two new shops just in time for our autumn menu launch with our great partners, Dallas Holdings.”

Shane Thakrar, CEO of Dallas Holdings, added: “We have been working hard to ensure we deliver the best possible Pret experience at these new shops, and it’s fantastic to now see it all coming together.

"While they are in different locations – one in a charming Oxford suburb and the other in the heart of the city’s train station – both of these shops let customers enjoy the same freshly made food and coffee that Pret is known for.

"We look forward to welcoming our first customers soon.”
