FIREFIGHTERS were at the scene of a blaze at a bar site in Oxford this morning (Monday, September 12).
One eyewitness told the Oxford Mail that firefighters were going into Elements Bar in Cowley Road, at approximately 8.45am this morning.
Kevin Gaughan added: “I was walking past this morning and saw the fire service smashing through the door with their oxygen masks on.
“There was a huge tube of smoke coming from the door.”
Oxfordshire County Council, which oversees Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, has been contacted for a comment.
