CARE workers in Oxfordshire can now apply to receive grants to help with the cost of living crisis.
Oxfordshire County Council and The Care Workers’ Charity, who support care workers by providing crisis grants, have partnered to provide the funding to care workers working or living in the county.
The grants will help with paying bills, rent, replacing washing machines and other white goods, and to deal with the increase in the cost of living and daily living costs.

The average amount of grant awarded is £500. As with all of the charity's grant giving, eligibility will be confirmed by workplace and in this instance by area postcode.
Eligibility for Oxfordshire grants will be based on living or working in an Oxfordshire County Council postcode area.
