The Old Maltings, a three-storey red-brick office building at the junction of Vineyard and Quakers Court, will undergo the flat conversion after Vale of White Horse District Council granted prior approval to XP 7 Developments on Tuesday, August 1.
The new development will feature 15 one-bedroom flats, four two-bedroom flats, and one three-bedroom flat.
The historic building was once used for malting, with barley or other cereal grains converted into malt for use in brewing and distilling or foods.
In 1999, it was converted into the council’s housing association offices.
There is office space on the ground and first floors with car parking in the lower ground floor.
