Reports of multiple attempted break-ins of vehicles and homes have been reported by a resident in Thorney Leys in Witney.
The householder, who posted on Witney Spotted, asked neighbours for any CCTV they may have of suspicious activity last night involving three or more people between 2am and 5am.
"It’ll be ideal if you have them getting into a vehicle," the poster wrote.
Within minutes, a neighbour replied: "Just making people aware that three men/boys tried to open my front door and partner's work van at 3.55am last night, carrying a large metal pole with them, this happened on Thorney Leys.
"If anyone else had this happen to them please let me know or check your cameras if you have any. We have CCTV footage that has been passed on to the police."
