Witney Feast will return to The Leys in two weeks’ time.
The Feast, which is nearly 800 years old, will take place on Monday September 12 and Tuesday September 13, starting with the traditional Golden Gallopers evening service conducted by St Mary's Church from the carousel on Monday 12th.
The fair at the Feast, run by Bob Wilson’s Funfairs, is the largest in the town and one of the biggest in the county and its location on the Leys means it can feature larger attractions.
Along with traditional thrill-inducing rides such as the waltzer and dodgems there are likely to be attractions like the Wild Mouse rollercoaster and the family friendly smaller version – the Dragon Coaster.
Or you can ride aboard the Star Flyer 200 feet up in the air, or wander through the biggest fun house in Europe at four storeys high.
Other white-knuckle rides, many of which are exclusive to Witney, you might encounter include Star Flyer, Space, Superstar, Extreme, Jumping Frogs, Dominator and Stargate.
