Man, 80s, pushed and robbed in Summertown, Oxford

AN elderly man was pushed ‘aggressively’ before having his wallet stolen in Oxford.

Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses of the incident which happened at about 12.50pm on Wednesday (October 10) in South Parade, Summertown.

The victim, a man in his 80s, was pushed ‘aggressively from behind’ and then asked for directions.

Having responded to the offender, he was pushed again as the offender left. Shortly afterwards, the victim realised his wallet had been stolen. The victim did not require medical treatment.

The offender has been described as a black man, around 6ft tall with a medium build. He is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s and was wearing a three-quarter-length dark jacket with dark trousers and black shoes.
