There was a narrow escape for a driver who crashed into a tree, leaving the car in flames on the blind bend of a busy rural road.
Firefighters attended to a vehicle fire near Woodeaton, four miles from Oxford, just before 10.30am on Thursday.
Crews from Slade Park Fire Station and Rewley Road Fire Station were met with the car fire spreading to the nearby woodland upon arrival.

The occupant of the vehicle, whose gender has not been revealed, sustained no injuries in the crash and was able to retreat to a position of safety to call the fire service.
And the road was closed by fire crews while the blaze was extinguished.

An Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Upon arrival, crews were faced with a well-alight vehicle, which was spreading to nearby woodland, on the blind bend of a busy rural road."
Incident commander watch manager Dan Shepherd added: “Following a collision or a fire in your vehicle, it's important to ensure you can leave the vehicle safely and get to a place of refuge, especially on busy or fast roads."
