A family is offering a cash reward to anyone who finds their son’s beloved shark toy, which went missing while they were in Oxford.

The family were visiting the city from Sutton Coldfield on Saturday (August 20) when the plush disappeared.

Claire Cresswell Lane explained they last saw the toy hammerhead shark, aptly called Sharky, at the Jurys Inn Hotel in Godstow Road.

Her son, nine-year-old Nelson, has had his “beloved” Sharky for about seven years, making him a firm member of the family.

Despite a call to the hotel, there is currently no sign of the stuffed hammerhead.

The family are offering a of £50 for the sharks safe return home.

If you believe you have Sharky or may know where he is, you can contact the family on clairelane2008@googlemail.com
