Oxford: How you can win a YEAR worth of free fried chicken

A new restaurant opening in Oxford this weekend is giving hungry customers the chance to win a year’s worth of free fried chicken.

Popeyes will open in Queen Street, Oxford on Saturday (September 17) at 11am, with queues of fans expected to turn up the night before.

As part of the brand’s opening celebrations, the first 50 people in the queue will receive a free chicken sandwich.

Although, the first three people in the queue will grab the main prize of a year’s worth of free chicken sandwiches.

According to the chain’s terms and conditions, the free chicken sandwiches for a year equivalent to three classic sandwiches a week for 12 months.

Valid at Popeyes UK via online ordering only.

Founded in New Orleans in 1972, Popeyes serves a New Orleans style menu featuring spicy chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, and other regional items.

The chain currently has more than 3,700 restaurants in the US and around the world.

Popeyes UK Oxford is located at 36 – 37 Queen St, Oxford, OX1 1ER and will seat up to 90 people with the following opening hours: Monday – Sunday 10.30am – 10pm.
