A restaurant in Jericho has applied to the city council to make changes to its building.

Browns Bar & Brasserie at 5-11 Woodstock Road submitted a planning application to Oxford City Council on July 25.

The applicant, Mitchells & Butlers plc which owns the restaurant, has asked for permission to remove the existing extraction system and intake ductwork from the flat roof and replace it with newer ventilation.

In the application, the applicant assured the council the existing access arrangements to the property would remain unaffected and unchanged by the proposal.

Design plans submitted to the council also show how the updated ventilation system will look, as well as how it will be positioned on the roof of the building.
