GATLIN O’Donkor fired a double to send Oxford United into the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup.

A 3-0 win over Leeds United at the Kassam Stadium set up a trip to Manchester City for the Under-18s, already playing in the fifth round for the first time since club records began.

Enrique Tiamuna opened the scoring, before O’Donkor netted a goal in each half.

The opening stages were fairly even, with the first chance falling the way of Leeds’ Connor Douglas, who fired over at the back post after 10 minutes.

It was the U’s who took the lead though 10 minutes later when Tiamuna bundled in on the goal line after Leeds failed to clear a corner.

Just before the half hour mark, O’Donkor got his first true sight of goal when he swivelled his marker and fired a low effort which Darryl Ombang got down to.

With five minutes to go until the break, Josh Johnson was unlucky to see his thunderous strike from 30 yards cannon against the crossbar.

It mattered little as O’Donkor made it 2-0 minutes later when he finished inside the near post, from the left channel of the penalty area.

Within two minutes of the second half, United went 3-0 up when O’Donkor spun his man in the box and applied the finish.
