Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Banbury.
A man entered the Co-op in Ferriston and demanded money from the till, saying he had a gun.
However, no weapon was seen during the offence, said police.
The offender was wearing black motorcycle clothing including a full-face crash helmet.
He left with around £185 in cash and is believed to have run in the direction of Glyndebourne Gardens and on to Banesberie Close.
The incident happened at around 8.10pm on Sunday (21/8).
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sam Buzzard, based at Banbury police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.
“If you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
