Christmas is officially coming as the ice rink is heading back to Somerset House for another winter of festive fun and they’ve got a whole new series of Skate Lates events on for 2022. As well as spinning around the rink during the day in front of the 40ft Christmas tree, you can take to the ice once night falls with Skate Lates, hosted by array of DJs, artists and clubs. It’s a truly diverse programme with the likes of Deptford Northern Soul, ESEA Sisters, Manara, Pxssy Palace, and Lexii taking to the decks.
Moet & Chandon will be running the Skate Lounge, offering glasses of fizz and a menu of cocktails including a twist on a hot toddy. There’ll also be a Chocmobile from Hotel Chocolat and Jimmy Garcia will be popping up with Chalet Suisse, serving up winter warmers like roasted pork belly with sauerkraut, vegan fondue, and a winter Swiss mess, so you’ll have plenty of places to chill between skate sessions. Tickets go on sale at 10am on 30th September so be ready to snap ’em up.
