Trial date set for man accused of touching teen in Cricketers Arms pub

Oct 8, 2022

A trial date has been set for a man accused of sexually assaulting a teenager in a pub.

Andrew Dahill, 51, is alleged to have touched the 15-year-old’s chest and thigh over clothing at The Cricketers Arms, Temple Cowley, in April 2015.

He appeared before Judge Michael Gledhill KC at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, having elected a trial by judge and jury when his case was before the magistrates’ court last month.

Dahill, of Upper Fisher Road, Oxford, pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault by touching.

Judge Gledhill bailed him to return to court on July 31 next year for his trial.
