The Good Neighbour Award was given to University College, Oxford (Univ), Níall McLaughlin Architects, planning consultant Barton Willmore and Oxford City Council at an award ceremony held in Manchester on 22 September.

Andrew Grant, Univ North Project Director, said: “This development is the most ambitious building project in Univ’s history, since our Main Quad build in the 17th century.

“I would like to thank the team at Univ, our numerous partners, particularly Bidwells Oxford project management, our architect and landscape designer for their inspired design.

“In addition, none of this would be possible without the wonderful generosity of our Old Members and friends.

“Thanks to them, the Univ North vision is able to become reality.”
