Warrant out after Bloxham man a no-show at Oxford Crown Court

Sep 17, 2022

An arrest warrant was issued after a Bloxham man failed to appear at court.

Liam Wishart, 35, was due before Oxford Crown Court on Friday afternoon in connection with various charges including having indecent images of children and possession of counterfeit £20 notes.

When he failed to show-up, Judge Michael Gledhill KC issued a warrant for his arrest not backed for bail. It means the police must produce him before the crown court if he is found.

Julian Lynch appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service at Friday’s hearing. The absent Wishart, of Courtington Lane, Bloxham, was represented by Angela Porter.
