POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a cashpoint robbery in the centre of Oxford.
At around midday on Monday, August 29, the victim, a woman in her twenties, was taking cash out from the Halifax cash machine in Queen Street.
A woman then walked up behind her, threw her on the ground and took the money before running away.

The woman is described as approximately 5 feet six inches tall and around 45-years-old, with high cheekbones and blonde hair that was pulled back.
She was wearing white trainers, black leggings or tight trousers, and a thin-looking puffer jacket that was black, and a hood that she wore down.
Investigating Officer PC Simon Turley said: “We are appealing for help to identify this woman and for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
“We believe she may have been in the area for around 30 minutes before the incident.”
