Young girl from Bicester leaves moving message for Queen

With news of the Queen’s death last week members of the public have put forward some touching tributes.

Charlotte, aged nine, from Bicester, left a moving message in a card among the floral tributes laid outside Bodicote House, headquarters of Cherwell District Council.

A spokesperson for the council said: “The Union Flag will be flying at half mast at our offices throughout the period of national mourning, and it’s now been confirmed there will be a minute’s silence for people to pay their respects at 8pm on Sunday, September 18.

“Which will be observed across the UK.”
