CCTV released by police in Oxford sexual assault case

CCTV images have been released of a man police would like to speak to in connection an incident of sexual assault in Oxford.

Police believe he may have vital information about the incident which occurred at around 9.45pm on January 19 on Cowley Road.

The victim, a woman in her twenties was collecting her bicycle from the bike rack, when a man inappropriately touched her over her clothing.

The offender then made off in the direction of Sainsbury’s.

Investigating officer, PC George Hodson, based at Cowley police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises this individual in these images to please get in touch as they may have vital information about this incident.
