Mother of two from Wantage nominated for award

A business owner from Oxfordshire has been nominated for a national award in her field.

Megan Chapman, of Crown Close in Wantage, set her own business up – called The Savvy VA – after giving birth to her second daughter.

Her role as a virtual assistant sees Mrs Chapman support coaches, mentors and online training providers.

The mother is overjoyed she has now been nominated in the Singleton VA category at the UK VA Awards 2022, an awards ceremony for her field.

The 38-year- said: “I was delighted to have been nominated by a long term client, I found out I was shortlisted a few weeks ago then found out I was a finalist yesterday and was a little bit in shock!

“The best thing about being a VA is the flexibility I now have. I can be there for my children more. I also love the wide variety of work I have supporting different clients.”
