Shocking images have been released by the fire service after a crash involving a light aircraft.
Crews from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire fire services were called to the incident yesterday aftnoon, after the plane crashed on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border.

Images shared by the fire service show the plane stuck amongst the trees, with its nose bent and buckled and its wings partially detached.
Amazingly, both the pilot and passenger were uninjured and managed to safely exit the aircraft.

After making the scene safe, disconnecting the battery and ensuring no fuel could leak, the firefighters left the scene.
Oxfordshire County Council, which oversees the fire service, has been contacted for comment.
