Police appealing for info on robbery in Cowley Road, Oxford

POLICE are appealing for information in connection to a robbery that took place on Cowley Road.

Last Friday a robbery occurred outside St Mary and St John Church on Cowley Road at around 8.20am.

The victim, a 39-year-old man, was approached by an unknown man, who punched and kicked him before stealing a quantity of money.

The offender is described as a white man in his thirties, of slim build, with a beard.

He was wearing a baseball cap and was on a bicycle.

Police are asking anyone with information to please call 101 quoting the reference number: 43220427476.
