It looks like summer has officially ended with news that the splash park on The Leys is now closed for the season.
Witney Town Council tweeted that the pad has been hit by major mechanical issues.
"Unfortunately, the expected repair date is beyond our normal operating period and therefore it will not be opening again this year."
The splash park was shut at the height of the hot weather in June when one of the sensors stopped working and the water flow from the working area became erratic.
In August it shut again for cleaning after one of the pumps that circulates the water broke.
Witney Town Council then tweeted that it would be shut for a few days while the equipment and pumps were serviced and repaired.
The council said it was sorry for the unexpected shutdown.
"We apologise for the earlier than normal closure," it said.
