The former prime minister has been in the spotlight due to the ongoing Covid inquiry and Mr Johnson recently decided to hand over all his unredacted Whatsapp messages dating back to May 2021 as requested.
The inquiry is being led by Baroness Hallett and Mr Johnson’s decision to hand over his messages bypassed the government, which decided to launch a “judicial review of the demand”.
This morning, Sky News reporters waited nearby his Oxfordshire home to ask him about the inquiry.
The reporter asked: “Have you handed in your old phone yet?”
To which Mr Johnson replied: “Never interview here.
“Interview in London.
“Never interview here.”
Mr Johnson was on a run when the reporter caught up with him.
