We make the short trip down the A40 to Cheltenham this afternoon looking to get our first away win of the season.
We have played okay at Derby and at Bristol Rovers without getting much reward for the hard work we put in.
Hopefully today we can put in a decent performance and pick up an important three points.
Clearly our league results so far have not been what we would have liked.
Injuries have played their part but are not the only reason.

We haven’t been clinical enough in either penalty area and there are a few things we have looked at this week that we need to tighten up on.
It is still early days, we are still in August, but we can’t afford to let the teams above us get too much of a headstart and we need to start winning as soon as possible.
We have had a positive week, starting with a draw against Morecambe.
A couple of years ago, we were on a poor run of results and we got a draw at Ipswich which just gave us something to work from.

Win today and it’s four points from six.
Win the next league game at home to Burton and we have seven from nine, and are on a little run.
Obviously there was a cup game in midweek when we welcomed Crystal Palace and I hope everyone enjoyed the spectacle and the occasion.
We were excellent and we held a top side for 75 minutes, looking as though we could cause an upset.

I will mention John Mousinho as well because he was a major influence on all the young heads around him.
We have 11 players out and yet we played in the Oxford United way.
Not just on our style of play, but also in our absolute refusal to be beaten by injuries and absences.
We will have many more things thrown in our paths over rest of the season but we showed enough on Saturday to suggest we will overcome them all.
And a win today keeps things moving in the right direction.
