EDDIE Odhiambo revealed he reflected on his own performance following North Leigh's slow start to the season.
The Millers claimed their maiden win at step three of non-league last Saturday after losing their first three games of the campaign.
North Leigh host Yate Town tomorrow after triumphing 2-0 at Hendon to get off the mark in Pitching In Southern League Premier South.
He said: “I don’t think my performance had been up to standard, but I knew what I had to do to amend that.
“When I’m at my best I’ve got a bit of an edge to me and I think I was being a bit friendly at times to the players.
“That’s been addressed and my message to the players is that I probably hadn’t equipped them for life at this level."
On Yate, he added: “Peter Beadle’s a super experienced manager and done really good things at non-league level.
“They’re going to have a lot of nous and players who know how to win games.
“It’s going to be really tricky but it’s the sort of game we’re looking forward to.”
Eddie Odhiambo’s side travel to Chesham United on Bank Holiday Monday.
There is a full set of fixtures in Division 1 Central as Didcot Town entertain Biggleswade Town, Kidlington go to Hadley and Thame United visit Walthamstow.
Easington Sports exited the Emirates FA Cup after losing 3-2 at Roman Glass St George in their preliminary round replay.
