A CANNABIS factory near Thame has been shut down today by police.
Thames Valley Police’s Neighbourhood Policing Team and Incident Crime Response team closed the factory located in Chinnor, near Thame, today (August 24).
Many plastic zip lock bags full of cannabis were seized as well as large cannabis plants.

On Facebook, Thame NHPT and ICR said: “Another one bites the dust. Thame NHPT and ICR closed a cannabis factory today in Chinnor.
“As well the risk of exploitation and the vile smell, the wiring in them are dangerous & their electricians wouldn't be found on Trust a Trader.”

However, one person commented that the factory being closed was a “waste of taxpayers’ money”.
In response, Thames Valley Police said: “Thank you for your view, we would respectfully disagree.”
